Kagami Arata...potrayed by Sato Yuuki, is a man with a good heart but hot blooded and will often act without thinking about the consequences of his actions. His younger brother Kagami Ryou killed by a Worm and he joined ZECT in as a field agent to kill it. As the Masked Rider Project complete, he attempt to become Kabuto by wearing the zecter belt. However, instead of choosing Kagami, the Kabuto zecter fly away to its true master, Tendou Souji.

He later became Kamen Rider TheBee (pronounced za-bee), in desperation to help his wounded Shadow Troopers, after it rejected the previous user, Yaguruma Sou (the one whom later became people's favourite Kamen Rider Kick Hopper). Wielding the power of TheBee, Kagami has given the order by ZECT to eliminate Kabuto, which is Tendou Souji. Kagami became confused with his dedication towards ZECT and his budding friendship to Tendou. However, Tendou appear before him as Kabuto, and persuade him to listen to his heart for whatever decision he's gonna made. TheBee did attack Kabuto with his Rider Sting, however, Kabuto won't budge and wounded. Kagami later on give up on the role as TheBee because of the incident and became ordinary field agent once again.

Kagami eventually given the chance to test the Gatack zecter but failed like the other previous participants. During the old warehouse raid in order to eliminate the nest of Worm, Kagami came as a recon and found a little boy named Makoto. However, the true identity of Makoto is Tarantes Worm and it kills Kagami. Then, Mishima (the guy with glasses and cold emotion) came and attach the zecter belt on Kagami's lifeless body. Kagami then revived and called the Gatack zecter to his side. He later on change to the God of Battle, Gatack.

In his Masked Mode, Gatack has bulky body with two powerful cannon, Gatack Vulcan, on his left and right shoulders. In his Rider Mode, his battle style are more aggresive than Kabuto thus earned the name God of Battle. His final attack is his tachyon-powered jumping roundhouse Rider Kick. Another finisher of Gatack is with his Double Calibur (golden Plus Calibur on his right shoulder & silver Minus Calibur on his left shoulder), the scissor-like scythes attached to his shoulders. The finisher is known as Rider Cutting.

Gatack's ride is the Gatack Extender, a modified blue Honda XR250 Motard. Gatack Extender normally in Masked Mode and split and became a surfboard with mandibles in Ex Mode. In Ex Mode, with the present of Kabuto Extender, Gatack can perform a team finisher known as Extend Rider Drop. Tossed into the air off the Kabuto Extender's EX Anchor, the Gatack Extender is then driven into the enemy from above by Gatack's kick.

         The 35th anniversary of the Kamen Rider series aired on TV Asahi from January 29,2006, until the final episode January 21,2007. The 49 episodes of Kamen Rider Kabuto revolves around a man named Tendou Souji (potrayed by Mizushima Hiro). His real name is Kusakabe Souji (he was adopted by his grandma, therefore his name is Tendou Souji).

         He has trained seven years and do nothing, no work, no study...while waiting for the Kabuto Zecter so that he may properly take up the name of Kamen Rider Kabuto. However, he is a smart guy that excels in everything especially fighting and cooking. He always saying quotes from his grandma's advices which starts from "Oba-chan ga itte ita...". Mostly about cooking and food. Although Tendou Souji is such an arrogant man, he is someone who care about others. 

         He had a 13 years old adopted sister(actually his cousin) which is Tendou Jyuka (potrayed by Natsumi Okumura). He loves his sister so much, he prepare delicious meal for his sister every morning.

      Kamen Rider Kabuto powered by Kabuto Zecter, a mechanical device which choose its user and grant him ability to transform into a Kamen Rider. Kabuto Zecter take the form of red-horned beetle known as Kabutomushi. The Zecters, also known as Masked Rider Systems are compilations of mobile systems that affect space and time given by the Natives that arrived 35 years ago to human (dated 3 April 1971 in the series,which also refer to the day 1st episode of Kamen Rider aired in real time). Its general purpose is to protect the Natives from the Worms that arrived later.

The Masked Form can withstand attacks - good for defence. However, the bulky armored form can't catch up the speed of melted Worm and have to "Cast-off" to become Rider Form.

          In Rider Form, Kabuto have the ability to 'Clock Up' and gain the speed which human can't see with naked eyes. Kabuto also can execute Rider Kick to finish his opponent to dust. The popular style of Kabuto's finisher is Counter Kick. Kabuto's bike is Kabuto Extender, the modified Honda CBR1000RR. Kabuto Extender have two modes, which is Masked Mode and Ex-Mode. The bike can 'Cast-off' and turn into Ex-Mode and has lengthened apparatus on the front known as Ex-Horn. The Clock Up system can further extend the abilities of this machine, allowing it to surpass basic gravitational laws.

Kabuto has a weapon known as Kabuto Kunai Gun. The Kabuto Kunai Gun is Kabuto's personal sidearm that has three modes to use the weapon in various forms.

• Gun Mode - the default mode, fires high-intensity ion beam blasts and is equipped with tri-laser targeting called DAT Sight. Its finishing attack is an ionic energy blast called the Avalanche Shoot. 
• Ax Mode - becomes active when the gun barrel is held, and is wielded by using the bladed butt of the weapon like a tomahawk. Its finishing attack is the Avalanche Break. 
• Kunai Mode - activates when the gun barrel is detached, unsheathing a short-dagger weapon good for its swift and easy handling; this is favored most when Kabuto switches to Rider Form. This mode's finishing attack is the Avalanche Slash.
