         Kamen Rider Accel is the second kamen rider in Double/W series. The name comes from the English word "acceleration" and his motif is that of the letter A as well as a motorcycle. 

         Ryu Terui (potrayed by Minehiro Kinomoto) is a superintendent appointed to the Futo Police Department's Paranormal Crime Investigation Division, and is Jinno and Makura's superior. Ryu lost his family when they were murdered by a Dopant with a Gaia Memory symbolized by the letter W, driving him to seek revenge against this man (Weather Dopant).

Accel's standard Maximum Drive is the Accel Glanzer Rider Kick, after charging up power to a point where Accel's body is engulfed in orange flames, he executes a jumping spinning heel kick which releases energy in the form of tread marks. While armed with the Engine Blade, Kamen Rider Accel has additional Maximum Drives.

The Engine Memory is a Gaia Memory that gives the Engine Blade its various different powers. Its powers are linked to those of the Accel Memory. This allows it to have more than one ability, each based on a different type of engine: 

• Steam, which creates a wave or wall of hot steam
• Jet, which allows the Engine Blade to execute super heated slashes or fire a bladed energy wave
• Electric, which allows the Engine Blade to perform electrically charged slashes or fire a bolt of electricity.

The power of the Accel Memory allows Kamen Rider Accel to assume Bike Form which is accessed by removing the Accel Driver buckle from the belt when the Face Flasher lights up and when transformed, it allows Kamen Rider Accel to reach speeds of 920 km/h. More info here.

Accel's Bike Form can combine with Gunner A to become Accel Gunner.

Another form of Accel is Kamen Rider Accel Trial. It is much faster than Accel's normal form, but its armor and overall power is weaker as a result. Once the Maximum Drive is initiated, Accel Trial can only be used for another 10 seconds before being forcibly reverted to human form, but the transformation is retained if the Trial Maximum Drive is successfully executed in under 10 seconds. This form's Maximum Drive is the Machine Gun Spike Rider Kick, a series of multiple kicks in a row which leave a series of energy treadmarks in the form of a T. When Accel Trial combines the Engine Maximum Drive with the Trial Maximum Drive, he can perform the Machine Gun Slasher Maximum Drive, repeatedly slashing the target in the time limit rather than kicking.

The Diablossa is Ryu's personal Ducati 999 motorcycle. It also has a holder for the Engine Blade. Ryu does not ride it as Accel, likely because of his ability to exceed its speed when transformed. Its name comes from the Italian words "Diablo" and "Rosso" (meaning "Red Devil").

EXTREEEEEEEEMMMEEE!!!

The line in between Cyclone w Joker suddenly emitted a strange light, as if they have shifted to the next level...a gaia memory called Xtreme Memory in a shape of an eagle fly about in the sky and then descending along the green and purple lines into the Double Driver..the Xtreme Memory then split into half and create a gold letter of 'X' along with the sound 'EXTREME'. Double suddenly split their own body and exposing the iridescent band going down the middle called the Crystal Server and completely become Cyclone w Joker Xtreme.

 The Xtreme Memory(also known as Transforming Gaia Bird Xtreme Memory), which is in live mode, absorb Philip and unite with Shotaro when they become Cyclone w Joker Xtreme. The eye of each side (left for Shotaro, right for Philip) will flash as they talk. The iridescent band in the middle of their body is a link directly to the infinite knowledge of the true Gaia Library. Therefore, they can instantly analyze the weaknesses and capabilities of their opponents.

To initiate its Maximum Drive, the Double Xtreme Rider Kick, the Xtreme Memory is closed and then re-opened. A variation of the Double Xtreme, the Double Prism Xtreme, is where Double inserts the Prism Memory in the Maximum Slot of the Double Driver before closing and re-opening the Xtreme Memory.

 After inserting the Prism Memory into the Prism Sword and by pressing the Maximum Starter button on its hilt, the Prism Break Maximum Drive is initiated, either through an energized slash or a wave of energy. Through the Prism Memory's ability to link Philip's three elemental Gaia Memories with the Joker Memory, the Prism Bicker allows CycloneJoker Xtreme to perform two quadruple power Maximum Drives: the Bicker Charge Break sword and shield charged slash and the Bicker Finallusion laser blast. 

A variation of the Bicker Charge Break turns the Bicker Shield into a whirling disc of energy which Double can ride like a surfboard, allowing him to perform the Maximum Drive against an airborne foe. A variation of Bicker Finallusion in which the Metal Memory is used in place of the Joker Memory creates a strong energy shield.

 Cyclone w Joker Gold Xtreme (SIC modded by Kenosyotaku)

 CycloneJoker Gold Xtreme is an enhanced version of CycloneJoker Xtreme that appears in Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate. In this form, the Crystal Server turns golden with a set of insect wings that allows Double to fly.

Origin of Kamen Rider

In 1971, the first Kamen Rider series aired as a tokusatsu television series in the Mainichi Broadcasting System and NET TV(now known as TV Asahi). Kamen Rider is created by a japanese mangaka Shotaro Ishinomori (1938-1998).

Shotaro Ishinomori (his real name is Shotaro Onodera)

The first Kamen Rider series are basically based on a 100-page one-shot story known as Skull Man. Shotaro Ishinomori who created the Kamen Rider series together with producer Toru Hirayama, made this manga as his own personal version, which the producers at Toei Company Ltd. used as the basis for the show. However, some changes of the contents of this 100-page one-shot story are made, because of the story are too dark and gruesome for a children's show. Ishinomori and Hirayama also redesigned the main character to resemble a grasshopper, supposedly chosen by his son.

 

 The original Skull Man was one of manga's first anti-heroes, someone who would sacrifice the lives of innocents in his quest for vengeance. This darkness is what made the Skull Man so magnetic and successful. The Skull Man refers to the suit which grant superpowers and superhuman ability to anybody who wear it, while the Kamen Riders series emphasizes on henshin belt that grant superhuman ability and agility to those who possess it and transformed...

So, the Kamen Rider, which is based on Skull Man, is totally the opposite of him, except for their superhuman powers. And i can say that most of the Kamen Rider series gained their powers whatsoever from their enemies...for example, Kabuto zecter from ZECT, Den-O's various forms from the Imajins and so on. So, the Kamen Rider is basically the bad guy who turn into a good guy, or a gud guy who uses the bad guys' stuff to fight them(the bad guy) back...Ironic isn't it...

cool huh...the remake version from original idea of Ishinomori's 100-page one-shot manga

Kamen Rider 1 (1971) and Kamen Rider 1 (2005). Pretty much the same as Skull Man huh...especially the muffler...

 As a remembrance for his work, all of the Kamen Rider series made in the Heisei period credit Ishinomori as the creator. The Ishinomori Manga Museum named in his honor opened in Ishinomaki, Miyagi in 2001. Special trains in the Senseki Line were commissioned featuring his artwork generally leading to the museum. Back again for more info on Double/W.
In Double/W episode 16 (if i'm not mistaken), Philip found what it seems to be a lost memory - a transformable Fang memory which also known as Transforming Gaia Dinosaur Fang Memory(wow...long name huh). The Fang memory is created as a protector of Phillip in Live Mode and enable Philip to become Double/W with Fang memory in Memory Mode.

 fangWjoker....yup...i know it's cool...and it's Phillip in action (Shotaro fainted already)

fangWjoker have two distinctive weapons, one is Fang Horn(spike came out of his arm) and the other is Fang Shoulder(spike came out of his shoulder, which is a boomerang).However, the 1st and 2nd time Philip henshin to fangWjoker, he absolutely gone berserk and can't control himself. However, Shotaro(which in the comatose state) manage to consort Philip to regain his control. The final attack are Fang Strizer, a spin kick with his(or should i say 'their'?) fanged leg.
