Kagami Arata...potrayed by Sato Yuuki, is a man with a good heart but hot blooded and will often act without thinking about the consequences of his actions. His younger brother Kagami Ryou killed by a Worm and he joined ZECT in as a field agent to kill it. As the Masked Rider Project complete, he attempt to become Kabuto by wearing the zecter belt. However, instead of choosing Kagami, the Kabuto zecter fly away to its true master, Tendou Souji.

He later became Kamen Rider TheBee (pronounced za-bee), in desperation to help his wounded Shadow Troopers, after it rejected the previous user, Yaguruma Sou (the one whom later became people's favourite Kamen Rider Kick Hopper). Wielding the power of TheBee, Kagami has given the order by ZECT to eliminate Kabuto, which is Tendou Souji. Kagami became confused with his dedication towards ZECT and his budding friendship to Tendou. However, Tendou appear before him as Kabuto, and persuade him to listen to his heart for whatever decision he's gonna made. TheBee did attack Kabuto with his Rider Sting, however, Kabuto won't budge and wounded. Kagami later on give up on the role as TheBee because of the incident and became ordinary field agent once again.

Kagami eventually given the chance to test the Gatack zecter but failed like the other previous participants. During the old warehouse raid in order to eliminate the nest of Worm, Kagami came as a recon and found a little boy named Makoto. However, the true identity of Makoto is Tarantes Worm and it kills Kagami. Then, Mishima (the guy with glasses and cold emotion) came and attach the zecter belt on Kagami's lifeless body. Kagami then revived and called the Gatack zecter to his side. He later on change to the God of Battle, Gatack.

In his Masked Mode, Gatack has bulky body with two powerful cannon, Gatack Vulcan, on his left and right shoulders. In his Rider Mode, his battle style are more aggresive than Kabuto thus earned the name God of Battle. His final attack is his tachyon-powered jumping roundhouse Rider Kick. Another finisher of Gatack is with his Double Calibur (golden Plus Calibur on his right shoulder & silver Minus Calibur on his left shoulder), the scissor-like scythes attached to his shoulders. The finisher is known as Rider Cutting.

Gatack's ride is the Gatack Extender, a modified blue Honda XR250 Motard. Gatack Extender normally in Masked Mode and split and became a surfboard with mandibles in Ex Mode. In Ex Mode, with the present of Kabuto Extender, Gatack can perform a team finisher known as Extend Rider Drop. Tossed into the air off the Kabuto Extender's EX Anchor, the Gatack Extender is then driven into the enemy from above by Gatack's kick.
